In Charge of: Creating and producing songs for individual artists.

 

Type of position: A music producer is full time. This is because Working as a Producer can be time-consuming, with late hours, long days in the studio.

 

Key responsibilities: A music producers key responsibilities is to coordinate a recording project's logistics before the recording sessions begin.

Supervise the recording and mixing sessions.

Improve an album's commercial prospects by collaborating with the band's members on songwriting.

Handle the post production mastering on record to ensure that the record has consistent tonal and volume levels.

 

Skills needed: Skills needed for a music producer are:

 

Time management. This is because they will be creating and producing songs for various artists. So managing their time needs to be done properly.
