This is my final logo that I chose for my YP employment project. The reason I chose this logo as opposed to the three others is because I feel that this logo appeals to its target audience properly and has meaning to it. My logo is of a working man running with his briefcase. Running as opposed to walking means that more energy is required and that there must be an incentive for running to take place. The man in my logo running symbolises energy, effort and productivity. I chose this logo because it is vital that my target audience understand that employment requires strong work ethic and in order to be the best you can be you need to feel motivated to chase what it is you want. By seeing a running man with a briefcase my audience will feel motivated as running connotes competition, operation, functioning and working. I also chose this logo as I have indicated that this man is running to the title ‘YP employment’ indicating that they should go to the website if they need help and more information about employment. I have chosen black and grey as the dominant colours as they are both neutral, non gender affliated colours. This is important as my target audience are both male and females. I have chosen a more thicker and stronger font for "YP". This is beause I want my audience to pay attention to what ""YP" stands for which is young people. A young target audience from 16 to 24 is who YP employment are initially aiming for. So a classy font has been chosen on the word "Employment" so the auidence are able to take this aspect seriously. Overall this logo has a deeper meaning than just a man running and I have chosen it so my audience are able to decipher the visual message however it best applies to their situation. I could improve on my logo by including a running woman so that my female audience do not feel like they are not being appealed to and are able to relate with the logo more.
